   West out of Bride Lane to St. Bride1s Avenue (P.O. Directory) and west from St. Bride1s Church to Salisbury Court (O.S. 1875). In Farringdon Ward Without, north and west of St. Bride1s Church.
   First mention: Horwood, 1799.
   Former name : "Bride's Alley" (q.v.).
