   East out of Byward Street to Trinity Square, north of All Hallows Barking Church (Bacon's map, 1912). In Tower Ward.
   Earliest mention: Strype, ed. 1720.
   Widened 1862 by setting back the churchyard about 4 ft.
   Name derived from the church.
