   1) East out of Bishopsgate, in Bishopsgate Ward Without, at No. 290. No thoroughfare (P.O. Directory).
   First mention: O. and M. 1677.
   Formerly there was a passage from George and Katherine Wheel Yard into the court.
   Named after the owner or builder.
   2) North-east out of Little Britain at No. 33 (P.O. Directory). On the boundary of Aldersgate Ward and Farringdon Ward Without.
   First mention: Horwood, 1799.
   Former name : "Great Montagu Court" (Rocque, 1746, and Strype, ed. 1720).
   Montague Court is shown south of the boundary in Strype's maps.
