   South out of Hart Street, London Wall, at its western end, in Farringdon Ward Within (det.) (O. and M. 1677-Boyle, 1799).
   In Strype's maps called : "Lambs Chaple Alley."
   This shows the origin of the name, from Wm. Lamb.
