Fishmonger Alley
   North out of Fenchurch Street at No. 116, west of Ironmonger Hall (P.O. Directory). In Aldgate Ward.
   First mention: Rocque, 1746.
   Other names : "Fishmongers Passage" (Horwood, 1799-Lockie, 1816). "Smith's Rents" (q.v.) (Strype, 1720, I. ii. 82). "Culver Alley" (q.v.) (S. 141).
