- Conduit in Fleet Street
- At the south end of Shoe Lane, in Farringdon Ward Without (Leake, 1666), near the hostel of the Bishop of Salisbury.Erected by John Walworth, prior to his death, and bequest left for its maintenance by his will 1396-7 (Ct. H.W. II. 325).Pinnacle erected over the water pipes there to prevent inundations, 1388 (Cal. L. Bk. H. p. 326).Seems to have been rebuilt 18 H. VI. (Chr. of Lond. p. 154).Stow says William Eastfield founded it, but this may be an error, or may refer to the bringing of fresh water to it from Paddington, 1438 (S. 394).New built, 1582 (ib. 395).Destroyed in the Fire 1666.
