Chequer Inn
   1) On the north side of Holborn, east of Furnival's Inn, in Farringdon Ward Without (O. and M. 1677-Strype, 1755).
   The site is now covered by the offices of the Prudential Assurance Co., Ltd.
   2) On the south side of Chequer Yard, leading into Dowgate Hill. In Dowgate Ward (S. 233).
   Site occupied by Cannon Street Station since 1860-5.
