King's Arms Yard
   1) In Lothbury (Strype, ed. 1755-Boyle, 1799).
   Not named in the maps.
   2) North out of Snow Hill, near Holborn Bridge, in Farringdon Ward Without (O. and M. 1677-N. and Q. 1849-50, Vol. 1).
   The inn stood at the north end of the yard and had a passage into Chick Lane. It was a famous coaching inn.
   Removed for the formation of Holborn Viaduct and its approaches.
   3) East out of Coleman Street at No. 49, across Moorgate Street to Tokenhouse Yard (P.O. Directory). In Broad Street and Coleman Street Wards.
   First mention: W. Stow, 1722.
   Former names : "Kings Armes Court" (O. and M. 1677, to Strype, ed. 1755). "Kingshead Court" (Leake, 1666).
   4) In Fore Street, in Cripplegate Ward Without (Strype, ed. 1755).
   Not named in the maps.
   5) In Chick Lane (Dodsley, 1761).
   Not named in the maps.
   The inn seems to have stood between Snow Hill and Chick Lane.

   6) East out of Whitecross Street at No. 40, in Cripplegate Ward Without (Strype, ed. 1720-Elmes, 1831).
   Called : "King's Head Court" in O. and M. 1677, and Horwood, 1799.
   Removed for the formation of the Metropolitan Railway lines.
